Iā€™m passionate about helping you make meaningful change.

Meet Jill

I graduated with a Master of Social Work from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2004 and achieved licensure from the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board in 2006. I completed four years of postgraduate training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the Psychoanalytic Center of the Carolinas (PCC) and four years further training in ISTDP (Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy).

Prior to establishing my own practice in 2011, I worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, independent mental health clinics, and nonprofit organizations in North Carolina. I have additional experience in psychiatric/psychosocial assessment with multidisciplinary approaches to treatment; acute mental health issues and crises; substance abuse counseling; cognitive-behavioral, EMDR, and mindfulness therapies.

I would love to help you make a change!
